People have been concerned about the durability of Comic Wallets and I don’t blame them. It’s hard to imagine that a wallet made out of paper (20 year old paper in some cases) can withstand the daily wear and tear we put our wallets through. I am posting this to answer for the quality of my product. I wouldn’t be selling these unless I knew that they were good enough for day to day use.
Here are a few pictures of the prototype Comic Wallet that I have been using since May of 2009. Y0u will be able to see a little bit of wear damage on the fold both top and bottom but nothing too major. You’ll also be able to see that the card slots are a bit stretched but otherwise holding up fine. Although I have refrained from doing it myself for reasons of product research wallets are easily reseal and patched with pieces of clear packing tape.

Any questions about how comic wallets are made please let me know!
